Performance criteria

You must be able to:

Evaluate and select work methods P1 analyse the available project information and summarise it to enable decisions on work methods to be made P2 identify and evaluate possible work methods against relevant technical and project criteria and select those which best meet the criteria P3 quantify the activities of the selected work methods P4 propose the selected methods to decision makers and those affected by the work P5 review any feedback, resolve any conflicts and make any agreed adjustments Develop a programme of works P6 identify and evaluate activities, calculate the resources needed and prepare a programme of works P7 evaluate alternative sequences and resources to select the optimum solution to meet project requirements P8 confirm the availability of the required resources P9 check that the programme of works meets the project requirements P10 submit the programme of works for acceptance
P11 develop and implement a system for monitoring and recording progress against the programme of works and use the results to improve future production and planning
P12 prepare alterations to the programme of works due to changed circumstances or which offer benefits
P13 quantify the overall impacts of any alterations and justify them to decision makers
P14 record and investigate any queries, ambiguities, errors, or omissions which are reported by tenderers
