Process explosives
Overview
This standard takes place within a manufacturing environment for processing explosives, substances and or articles and covers the competences you need to monitor and control the task in accordance with approved procedures and practices.
You will be required to demonstrate that you can confirm that you have the correct operating instructions, deal promptly with problems, reporting promptly any that are not within your authority in accordance with approved procedures and practices.
This activity is likely to be undertaken by someone whose work role involves Ordnance, Munitions or Explosives (OME) work activities. This includes those working as manufacturing operators and supervisors.
This standard replaces COGESA 4.08, COGESA 4.09 and COGESA 4.10.
