Overview

This standard is about managing fair and inclusive recruitment, delivering effective induction and embedding organisational values in day-to-day practice. You assess role requirements and organisational priorities to recruit fairly and make evidence-based decisions. You plan and deliver structured induction that enables colleagues to understand their role, expectations and ways of working. You role-model organisational values, support colleagues to apply them in practice and challenge behaviours that do not align, to promote consistency, inclusion and ethical practice. You evaluate recruitment, induction and values-aligned practice to strengthen your approach over time.

This standard applies to managers and leaders at all levels across all sectors.
